Renewing Subscribers
Subscription Renewal Deadline: Thursday, May 23rd
Renew by May 23rd to keep the same seats for the same series or to have your change request processed before new subscriptions.
Please note whether you’d like to keep your same seats and series on the online order form and indicate any seating change requests in the special instructions section.
Seating Priority
Subscription renewals received by the May 23rd renewal deadline are processed before new subscriptions. Renewing subscribers requesting the same seats and the same series are seated first, followed by those who request changes to their seats and/or series (in the order they are received). Subscription renewals received after May 23rd are seated in the order in which they are received, along with new subscriptions. Priority is given to donors of $100 or more.
New Seating Sections
There are two seating sections in the Playhouse – Section A (the center section of the main floor) and Section B (the side sections of the main floor and the balcony).
When ordering online, please choose the subscription price that corresponds to the section you prefer. If there are any issues with availability, someone from audience services will contact you.

Although we can’t accommodate specific seating requests, please indicate any needs we should consider in the “Special Instructions” section of the online order form.
What happens next?
Your tickets will be mailed to you in September, to the address you provided.
What if I need to exchange my tickets for another date?
As a subscriber, you have the opportunity to exchange your tickets for new dates before single tickets go on sale to the general public. Instructions for making these exchanges, either by mail, or in person at the Overture Center ticket office, will be included in your ticket packet. There will be a cost of $2 per ticket.

All sales are final. Prices include tax. Tickets are non-refundable. All plays, dates and times are subject to change.

Student Rush tickets will also be available to high school and college students for $15 apiece, one hour prior to each performance, at Overture Center's ticket office. Students can buy up to two tickets, and must present a valid student ID.

Need a different date? Here’s how to exchange your tickets:
Subscribers have the opportunity to make ticket exchanges at a cost of $2 per ticket (an Overture Center fee).
By mail: Use the ticket exchange card included in your subscriber packet, or include a note with your contact information, the new date you’d like, and your check for $2 per ticket, along with your original tickets and mail to Overture Center, 201 State St, Madison, WI 53703. Your exchanged tickets will be held at will-call unless you include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
In-person: Simply bring the tickets you’d like to exchange to the Overture Center ticket office (201 State St., Madison) and talk to one of their staff about choosing a new date. The ticket office window is open 11am - 5:30pm during the week, and 11am - 2pm on Saturdays.
